TOTO Eco Soiree Toilet has the high-efficiency double cyclone flush system (which Toto is now calling the Tornado flush). This system uses only 1.28 gallons of water per flush and complies with the EPA Water Sense certification requirements. The SanaGloss finish to the toilet (now renamed CeFiONtec in some Toto literature) keeps the bowl cleaner for longer. It works by reducing staining and the growth of bacteria and microbes.
The toilet is ADA compliant (when installed with a trip lever located on the side that the toilet is approached from) in terms of the height and shape of the seat. This toilet comes complete with a soft closing seat and lid. See other Toto toilets review pages for comparison.
Toto Eco Soiree Toilet: Review
Design / Materials
Made from vitreous china, the toilet is a one-piece toilet with a skirted bowl. It has a high-profile tank that reduces the overall amount of floor space that the toilet takes up. This model comes with a chrome-plated trip lever that is mounted on the left of the toilet tank.
Toto Eco Soiree toilet has the very efficient Dual Cyclone (sometimes referred to as a Tornado Flush) system. It forces water through two jets to increase the efficiency of the flush. Additionally, the toilet cleans efficiently and effectively using only 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF).
This toilet, due to the SanaGloss (now renamed CeFiONtec) finish ensures a high standard of cleaning every flush. In addition, this SanaGloss surface finish helps prevent the buildup of both stains and the growth of mold and bacteria. Overall, with this combination of flush and surface finish, the frequency with which you have to clean the toilet manually is much reduced.
Toto Eco Soiree is a single flush high-efficiency toilet that uses only 1.28 gallons of water for every flush. The volume of water used, combined with the efficiency in removing waste, allows this toilet to be EPA Water Sense certified. What this means for you is that, depending on where you live, you will be eligible to get a significant rebate on your water bill when you fit this toilet. Ease of Installation
In common with the vast majority of toilets available, this toilet comes with a standard 12” rough-in. Although there is an option to get a 10” or 14” rough-in, this needs to be purchased as an additional extra. In common with all one-piece toilets, the Eco Soiree is a little more difficult to install due to the weight all being in a single piece. That being said, most people do not have any difficulty. Existing water supply outlets can sometimes get in the way of the skirt and may have to be relocated. The installation dimensions can be seen on this pdf (page 2).
